Charles
Pitcher is known as an artist and teacher of considerable technical
skill. Pitcher's work is extremely particular and masterful, as he creates
almost photographic-like paintings, expressing nature in its most pristine
form.
Sarah
Beitler works in encaustic, a painting medium that is luminous and
tactile. She incorporates photography and oil paint between the layers
of beeswax and pigment to create tranquil landscapes.
Ron
Thurston, watercolor painter, is best know for his intensely colorful
style distinguished by his personal variant of post-abstract realism.
Jan and Paul
Jay, painter and raku ceramist, live and work in Western PA. Their
work is exhibited nationally and held in many private collections.
Ron
Donoughe was a featured artist on a special for PBS, Visionaries.
Ron's "plein-air" paintings were featured in a one person exhibition
at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in November 2006 with his new book,
Essence of Pittsburgh.

during "Light Up Night", November 30th, Sewickley, PA.
